Poor Customer Service

"I have owned a few Madd Gear scooters over the years, and have loved all of them. For those that are new to the sport, they are a great, affordable option that will serve up until the point that the rider wants to start fine-tuning their ride. However, when I purchased this scooter, it arrived with the grip tape barely adhered and the bars noticeably out of true - the box wasn't damaged when we got it, so I don't think it was dropped in transit. When I noticed the grip tape coming off, I immediately contacted the support email to try and get a new bit of tape. Within 10mins of riding it, a third of the tape came off. I have since followed up twice with photos, and haven't heard anything I I'm also seeing that the bars themselves are warped. It's barely visible, but you can feel it when you're riding it, and my son mentioned it as well. Totally fine if the scooter has a defect, but I'm not sure what to do now that I've sent three emails follow ups over a week with no response. The scooter itself is great, and would be a five starts if we could get these two bits sorted out!"

"After putting the handlebars on, I didn’t have to do any adjustments at all. All of the bearings felt super smooth from the headset to the wheels. After a little bit of riding, I did have to tighten the break down which required a different Allen wrench than the one that was provided, but no problems there. be careful with the composite brake. Don’t put too much pressure on it especially while riding a little bit faster as it will melt the plastic composite on the brake and if you’re not careful, it could damage your wheels all in all this product is great and that would be the same on every scooter no matter what you do ."

"Built like a tank, rode it on some crazy nyc roads rides very smooth, quiet, its an awesome stunt scooter to even commute with, lightweight and fast. Love it so far. Plan on working on some tricks but so far great workout even to just ride and scoot around the town. Thx"
